Where relations are learned.
No_Land Academy is an experimental space for professional design education built on a project-based and relational approach to learning. Through real-world challenges, interdisciplinary collaborations, and collective reflection, participants develop their practice while critically engaging with the social, cultural, and ethical dimensions of design.
We see education as a collective process where learning emerges through dialogue, experimentation, and shared responsibility. The Academy cultivates the capacity to inquire, reframe, compose, and act within complex and evolving contexts.
At No-Land Academy, each semester is designed as a journey that unfolds across three dimensions: one that offers theoretical grounding, one that engages situated knowledge, and one that focuses on individual or group projects.
Together, these themes build a learning environment where theory, practice, and reflection overlap — encouraging us not only to design, but to rethink how design itself is practiced and shared.
Unseen, Unasked and Counter-Learning of Design
Semester 1,
Academic Year 2025–2026
The first semester of our 2025-26 academic year in No–Land, "Unseen, Unasked and Counter-Learning of Design" begins on October 12th. This semester, our approach of counter-learning takes shape through sessions on AI tools and data protection, mapping in social design, exploring the social construct of technology, and experimenting with new forms of publishing.
Together, these themes build a learning environment where theory, practice, and reflection overlap — encouraging us not only to design, but to rethink how design itself is practiced and shared.
