Unseen, Unasked and Counter-Learning of Design

The first semester of our 2025-26 academic year in No–Land, "Unseen, Unasked and Counter-Learning of Design" began on October 12th. This semester, our approach of counter-learning takes shape through sessions on AI tools and data protection, mapping in social design, exploring the social construct of technology, and experimenting with new forms of publishing.

In our first session, we introduced No-Land and its activities to participants. We further explored the topics of upcoming sessions, and discussed counter-learning of design: what its goals are, how it works and why it ties with our practice. At the end of the session, two groups presented their ontological design projects from our previous semester: their process, their insights and what they had achieved throughout this journey.
